International Ideas Week

Well what a week that was! It was always going to be ambitious running 4 breakfast seminars in 4 cities over 4 days.

This year we decided to do something a little different for International Ideas Week and hold a series of breakfast seminars around the country to celebrate Ideas Week. We held events in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Cardiff during the week and although the weather tried to put a dampener on the events, they turned out to be very successful.

Having being involved with ideas programmes now for over 7 years, I am still amazed at the appitite people have for developing innovation and creativity within their organisations. I met some really interesting people last week and it was great to hear the stories and anitdotes they had regarding working within their organisations.

Part of ideasUK objectives is to promote staff engagement and recognition and during the seminars last week I think we are starting to get the message across.

2008 looks to be a great year for innovation and for ideasUK!
